Fall Fun!!!
I love these silly pictures of him carving his pumpkins. He was pretty amused with the slimy insides of the pumpkins until he decided to taste it. GROSS!! I must say him and daddy carved some pretty rad pumpkins. Josh spent several hours on one carving a pirate ship into it. That was my favorite. Maybe because I requested it.
Caleb's first Halloween was alot of fun. We went trick-r-treating with his cousin Miles. We did have quite the dilema though with the costumes. I had found a peapod costume way back in July that I just loved so I bought it. Well, the bottom of it wasn't open and Caleb hated it because he could't crawl around and stand up in it. So, I returned it and the only thing they had in his size at that time was a chicken. So, I bought that. I got it home and Josh says, "he can't be a chicken". I don't know if it seemed to girly or what. I went out on the hunt again to find something else when I came upon a dragon and a monkey that were both really cute. I had a hard time deciding but finally left the store with the dragon. Well, what do ya know......I got home and tryed it on him and it was huge. Back to the store I went to return that one too and get the monkey. Well the monkey was gone so I was out of luck. After all that, I decided my boy was going to be the chicken and would be the cutest chicken out on the streets.

pretty funny. He was having a blast wearing it. Even though he did get called a "she" a couple of times and was also told what a cute "Rooster" he was. I thought it was a chicken but maybe it's a rooster. Whatever it was, he sure looked cute. His cousin Miles was the most adorable golfer. I'm already anxious for next year when Caleb will understand it a little more and probably enjoy it more.
We have been keeping busy around the Klinger household and Josh and Caleb got to have a fun father/son weekend this past weekend while I enjoyed a girls weekend scrapbooking. I always look forward to those weekends away but man do I miss my little guy. I call home about 5 times a day and hear him gigglin' in the background and I just feel like I'm missing out. So, it was fun to get home and I took Monday off and him and I just hung out. He is picking up a few more words. Some of which nobody else would understand what he's saying but I know what he means. His latest is "touchdown" and he's got a little football that he throws around. Super cute!!! We have been trying to teach him some sign language and he has picked up a couple words so that's pretty cool too. It's just unbelievable how smart these little people are.
I love this picture of my 2 little buddies together. I just think it's so great that they just adore each other the way they do. Caleb's face just lights up when he sees Miles. It's so hard to believe that we will be celebrating his first birthday in just a few more weeks. I can't believe how fast this past year has gone by and how quickly my baby is getting big.
Thanks for checking in with us, Erin
