Finally.....here we are
Hello all!! I've finally decided to start bloggin' on this site that my wonderful friend Jeny has set up for us. She set it up back in November soemtime before Caleb even arrived and it was my intention to start it then but you can see that didn't happen. We finally got our technology updated here at home and bought an awesome new computer and got high speed internet as well. So now I should be able to roll with this thing.
It's hard to believe our little man is already 9 weeks old. He had his 2 month check up last week and he weighed in at a whoppin' 9 pounds 3 ounces (it still amazes me that
women push kids out that big. OUCH!!! 5 pounds 4 ounces was plenty for me.) I can't believe he's almost doubled in weight in just 2 months. CRAZY!! My maternity leave is already coming to an end at the end of this month and I feel like we are still getting to really know one another and he's now starting to do some fun things. His favorite right now is getting his diaper changed which he just smiles and coo's the entire time. It's weird cuz he use to hate diaper changing time and would just scream the whole time. Bathtime has also become a favorite where before he hated that too. He also loves his tummy time which has been a life saver for us because when he's really fussy, all we usually need to do is get him on his tummy and he'll calm down. One of my favorites is hanging him over the front of his boppy where he will usually hang out for a couple hours and be content as ever. We try and do tummy time about 5 hours a day which has helped to develope his neck strength tremendously.

This past weekend has been quite a hectic one........I've been sick with some nasty flu like bug and Caleb has had bad diarrehea since he got the rotavirus vaccine last week. (My friend warned me to stay away from that one but I didn't listen) Needless to say.......they are suppose to get it at 2, 4 and 6 months and he will not be getting that one again. We were in babies-r-us a couple days after his appointment and there was a gal in the room changing her son and the first thing she said to me when we walked in was whatever you do, don't let them give your kid the rotavirus vaccine. I said "great, my son just got it 2 days ago". She said her son had been sick for the past 8 days since he got it. (now what she was doing out and about in a kids store with him is still beyond me but anyway) She told me the vaccine is a live virus and very contagious. Well what do ya know, just as I was sitting there feeding Caleb it all started and has been going on since. Now, I'm wondering if that's what I've got too. I've had the same symptoms plus the vomiting and fever too. So fun to have and try and take care of a baby at the same time. Boy things just aren't the same as they use to be. So, the past weekend has pretty much been miserable.
On that note......I need to end my first blog and go tend to my fussy baby. Keep checking in for updates and fun photos from the Klinger household.
Take care, Erin

How does Caleb feel about older women? I think he and Flinn should get married--he's soooo precious!
